Couplings and End couplings

The safari tent is made up of couplings, which connect the wooden frame to each other.
TentsXl uses 89mm galvanized steel 2.9mm thick as standard. End couplings are certainly a good addition to your safari tent.
This gives the frame an extra connection, making it stronger. The traditional safari tents do not have the end links. After a number of years it can be clearly seen that these are missing. The ends of the wooden beam frame that come out from under the roof will have to deal with all weather influences. As a result, these ends will also end sooner. Another common problem is that the ratchet screwed onto it can become loose. That is why we always recommend using end couplings. Really an added value for the life of your safari tent!
